Our little company of three began as most great ideas do-sitting around an Adirondack Lake campfire.

While burning the candle at both ends, so to speak, my husband and brother-in-law continued the daily operations of their Insurance company all while meeting with craftsmen and businesses throughout the United States with the sole mission of keeping our Fire Lighter made entirely in the USA. Once the final prototype, our company logo (with a nod to the Adirondacks in Upstate, NY, ) and antique design were decided upon and everything was in place, we got to work selling and have been so fortunate along the way to work with the best mentors, small business owners and online-retail companies we could have hoped for.

We couldn’t be more proud of our American made, family owned and operated business. Between the three of us, we have 3 teenagers that are learning the ins and outs of how a company is run. They are gaining valuable insight on how to balance working as business partners and as family; all with an emphasis on outstanding customer relations and how to perfectly package our product! They love going to work and helping out; I can guarantee one of your Fire Lighter kits has been packaged with love by their eager hands during a snow day from school or on one of their lazy days during the summer.

As we roll full steam into the Autumn and Winter months, know that each time you light your wood burning stove or fireplace, every American Fire Lighter has been made with pride, care, and dedication to American made quality and family values.
